Sam Christmus,

Sam Christmus has worked as an Environmental Health Manager in the Bureau of Air Quality at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) since June 2019. He manages the Bureau’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grants and the state’s Air Quality Coalitions, and also supports South Carolina’s Radon program. In addition to his job duties at SCDHEC, Sam serves on the board of the Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition, an initiative of the South Carolina Energy Office. Sam holds a B.A. in Public Health and an M.P.H. in Environmental Health Sciences, both from the University of South Carolina.
