Gretchen Barrera

Gretchen Barrera is a Civil and Environmental Engineer with 20+ years of project management experience including design, construction management, and personnel management. Grechen is a licensed professional engineer with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (University of Kentucky) and M.S. in Environmental Engineering (University of Houston). As the Alabama Port Authority Environmental Director, she is responsible for environmental compliance, land remediation, permitting, environmental consultant selection and oversight, and maintaining the port’s Green Marine certification.
