Degrees: Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (BSME), Indiana University (MBA) and Indiana State University Doctor of Education (EdS). P.E. Licensed 1963. Vice President-Petroleum Department, First National City, New York City (world’s largest bank) 1968-73. 2009 Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) appointed Young to co-write the Recommended Practices Document for the fueling site installation and maintenance of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Bulk Storage and Dispensing Systems. Young was also a member of the 2010 PEI Team that helped introduce DEF to North American fueling sites. Young is a petroleum equipment Patentee, National Speaker on Commercial Fueling Site Design Issues, and a widely published Author.

Founded in 1981—The Young Group provides Engineering Design and P.E. Stamped Drawing Services to Clients installing or upgrading private/municipal commercial fueling sites (conventional and alternative fuels) —800+ fueling site projects nationwide since 2008. The Young Group consults commercial fueling site owners and operators, petroleum equipment manufacturers, distributors and installers, municipal governments and agencies, Architects, Engineering Firms and Trade Associations. Electric and autonomous vehicles are a current focus of the Firm.
