bb13037d75a10a52fa50894c0bc17c59The North Carolina Solar Center at NC State University implemented a broad range of technology projects in order to reduce diesel emissions.  The center purchased: 11 refueling stations (biodiesel, ethanol, and natural gas), 5 heavy-duty hybrid electric trucks, 72 diesel retrofits, and 24 truck stop electrification parking spaces.

In addition, the Solar Center has contracted with the Triangle J Council of Government and Centralia Council of Governments for educational outreach in the Triangle and Charlotte regions.

NC Solar Center has developed over 15 technology specific fact sheets, dispenser and vehicle decals, conference display and web page at cleantransportation.org.
